Microsoft Authenticator adds an essential layer of security to your Drury account by requiring a second form of verification. Follow these steps to set it up on your mobile device.
Download Microsoft Authenticator from your device's app store.
On your computer, open a web browser and go to the link below. Enter your standard Drury username and password.
https://webmail.drury.edu
Once logged in, you'll be prompted to set up Multi-Factor Authentication. Choose the option to use an "app for authentication" (or similar wording).
A test sign-in request will be sent to your phone. Open the Authenticator app and approve the request. This confirms your account and the app are successfully linked.
Keep everything updated. Regularly update both your phone's operating system and the Microsoft Authenticator app to get the latest security features and fixes.
Getting a new phone? Set up Authenticator on your new device and confirm it's working before you get rid of your old one, so you don't lose access to your account.
My MFA was reset and now sign-in isn't working / Authenticator won't complete setup
If the Technology Services Help Desk has reset MFA on your account, any existing Drury.edu entries already saved in your Authenticator app are now stale and will block a clean setup. Open the Authenticator app, remove all existing Drury.edu accounts from it, then repeat the setup steps above to add it fresh. If you're not sure how to remove an account from the app or you're still stuck afterward, submit a ticket.
I didn't get the QR code or test notification
Make sure you're signed in to webmail.drury.edu on the computer where the QR code should appear, and that your phone has an internet or cellular connection. If nothing appears after a few minutes, submit a ticket.
